New Waze version introduces contributors scoreboard and personalized alternative routes
Users can now teach waze their alternative route preferences to frequent destinations, plus see how they stack up against the local and worldwide competition
Waze, the first free provider of driver-generated maps and real-time road information geared towards everyday driving, today announced a new version featuring personalized alternative routes as well as a scoreboard, allowing commuters to see where they stand among the larger driving community in their area.
Waze specializes in optimizing everyday driving. Unlike regular navigation, when commuting, users most often have clear preferences for specific routes, and know the alternatives. The information that they are missing is: what’s happening on my alternative routes RIGHT now, and which route they should take. Waze’s new alternative routes feature is personalized, allowing users to teach waze the multiple routes to destinations that they commonly travel to.

The version I’ve tested is 4.7.2, the update was made in December last year.

NAVIGON Mobile Navigator goes Facebook - Twitter and Panorama View3D
Keep in touch: new update personalises the NAVIGON iPhone app and provides social media connection to Twitter and Facebook
NAVIGON just announced a new update to their iPhone GPS flagship application Mobile Navigator. Version 1.4.0 was already packed with new features and they are arriving to the point that one can question if there are still new functions to be imagined for a GPS application, so great already. The Live Traffic feature is the most useful fearture since Mobile Navigator’s launch, if you ask me. Today they are pushing the limits of the app even further by integrating social media giants Twitter and Facebook.
On the display side, you will have the In-App purchase option of Panorama View3D which makes TomTom look like a Commodore 64 application instantly.

Fixing iPhone error 13019 when syncing with iTunes 8.2:Resolution
Please update to iTunes 9. If updating to iTunes 9 does not resolve the issue, please continue:
The error will most commonly occur while syncing music. This issue can be resolved by following these steps:
1.Select the iPhone or iPod touch in iTunes under Devices.
2.Click the Music tab and under the Sync music option, choose Selected playlists.
3.Deselect the Voice Memos playlist.
4.Click Apply and then click Sync.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, check the device and the iTunes library for duplicate voice memos. If you find any duplicate voice memos, delete the duplicates and then sync.
If those steps do not resolve the issue, then follow these steps:
1.Select the iPhone or iPod touch in iTunes under Devices.
2.Click the Music tab and deselect the Sync Music option.
3.Click Apply and then click Sync.
4.After the sync is complete, reselect the Sync Music option.
5.Click Apply and then click Sync.
If the Error 13019 occurs while syncing content other than music (applications, podcasts, and so on), then perform the same steps above but uncheck the content that stops syncing with Error 13019.
If the steps above do not resolve the issue, attempt to sync an empty iTunes music library to the device while logged in as a new admin user. Follow these steps to create a new admin user:
